Ayan Raj, a 13-year-old batting prodigy from Muzaffarpur, Bihar, stunned the cricketing world by hitting an unbeaten 327* runs off just 134 balls in a district-level tournament. He was playing for Sanskriti Cricket Academy in a 30-over match and dominated with his stroke play, smashing 41 fours and 22 sixes. Among his runs, 296 came through boundaries, giving him a strike rate of 220.89 percent.

Ayan Raj is close friends with IPL emerging star Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who recently made headlines with the second-fastest century in league history.

Ayan Raj has drawn comparisons to Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar while also expressing deep love for his friend.

“Every time I speak with Vaibhav bhai, I get a particular sense. We used to play together when we were little. Today, he has built a reputation for himself, and I am following in his footsteps,” Raj stated, as reported by NDTVsports.

‘My vision is Test cricket, can you survive five days?’ – Yograj Singh on rising star Vaibhav Suryavanshi

Former Indian cricketer Yograj Singh has stated that the nation’s young cricketing talents, including IPL’s breakout star Suryavanshi, urged them to prioritize fitness for their development. He applauded the new generation for their performances in shorter formats, but emphasized that true cricketing greatness lies in mastering the red-ball format.

He pointed out that surviving five days on the field is the ultimate examination of a player’s skill, of what a cricketer is truly capable of achieving.

“My vision is Test cricket. Can you survive five days? That’s the real test.  50 overs – fair enough. 20 overs – fair enough. I don’t go by these formats. But since they (formats) are there, you should be fit enough to play all three formats. Why do you struggle? Because you are only concentrating on T20, IPL and 50 overs. Aj toh 50 overs bhi nahi khel sakte hum log (Today, we cannot even play 50 overs). That’s the way we are,” Yograj said.
