On Wednesday, May 21, during Match 63 of the current Indian Premier League (IPL) between the Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals at the Wankhede Stadium,

Abishek Porel held onto a brilliant diving grab to his right to dismiss Rohit Sharma. Rohit left the crease after scoring five runs off of as many deliveries, indicating that his time there was brief.

From Mustafizur Rahman, Rohit planned to flog a jumbled seam delivery over the long-on area. However, Rohit’s downfall was caused by his inability to move his feet. Porel made a great dive full length to his right to complete a well-judged catch after the outside edge flew thick and fast. He left the sea of MI supporters at the site in complete stillness after pouching the ball with both hands.

Will Jacks, who entered at number three, was forced to leave for 21 off 13 when Mukesh Kumar’s slower ball accomplished the feat. The pitch was outside the off stump and the ball was delivered on a full length. Though he entered the shot a little too early, Jacks planned to play it across the line. This meant that because it went high into the night sky, he gained more height than distance.

Keeping his eyes on the ball the entire time, Vipraj Nigam, who was positioned at mid-off, backpedalled to make an incredible good catch. After a quick 13-ball 21-run cameo that included three fours and one six, Jacks was forced to return.
