The star of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and the current Indian Premier League 2024 (IPL 2024), Virat Kohli, hammered his first century of the season on Saturday, April 6, against Rajasthan Royals at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, as he continued his incredible form. Faf du Plessis, who opened the batting, and his captain engaged in an incredible 125-run partnership off 84 balls as the 35-year-old reached his fifty off 39 balls.
With 12 fours and four sixes, he went on to reach his century off 67 balls and end his innings with an undefeated 113* off 72 balls. As he crushed RR bowlers in all areas of the park, Kohli showcased his diverse range of strokes.
The fourth over of an inning filled with spectacular shots saw Kohli execute a magnificent pull against Nandre Burger, sending him over the deep square leg boundary for a maximum. As soon as he saw that the ball was pitched short, the right-handed batter moved into position and easily crushed the opposition to record a maximum.

With the aid of two fours and two sixes, Captain du Plessis collected 44 (33) points. With stats of 2/34 in four overs, Yuzvendra Chahal was the most effective bowler for RR.
