Birmingham Phoenix Women were finding it very difficult to get going. There was a moment where boundaries totally dried up. However, somehow with singles and doubles and mostly due to Amy Jones, they kept their chances going. The other batters struggled and that didn't help Birmingham Phoenix Women in the chase. Still, to be honest, if Jones would have been on strike in the end, they would have made it.
Amy Jones was batting so well, was so close to take her team over the line but fails to get the strike in the last five balls. Huge moment as that means, Birmingham Phoenix Women wait for their first win this season.
