Delhi Bulls beat Maratha Arabians by 9 wickets

Well, that is it from this game. But the action does not stop in the T10 League. Time for the third and last game of the day, between Deccan Gladiators and Team Abu Dhabi. That one is about to begin shortly. Switch tabs and catch all the action from that...
Right then, Amad Butt is the Man of the Match.
The Delhi Bulls captain, Dwayne Bravo says that it is a new team and even though they are defending chammpions, they do not feel like as it is a new unit. Tells they are looking to keep improving as the tournament progresses. Says he knows how talented Lewis is as he has two international hundreds against one of the best side in international cricket in India. Tells he is happy that whatever they are plannng, the boys are executing.
Earlier in the day, after a meltdown at the start of the innings, some good batting by the duo of Hossain and Ahmadi saw the Arabians end up with a decent total. The bowling by the Bulls was on fire as they were consistent throughout their bowling spell. All the bowlers chipped in and ensured that the score for them to chase is not a big one. In the end, their good work with the ball was followed up with some good work with the bat and they chased the total down with ease.
The bowling by Arabians was very poor but with such a small target to chase down, you can't really blame them as well. All the bowlers that bowled in those 5 overs were tonked all over and would want to forget this night in a hurry. Ahmadzai was the best bowler, all things considered, as he conceded just 12 runs and also scalped a wicket. But overall, some work to be done for the Arabians.
An easy win for the Bulls in the end. With the total not being the biggest, you would expect them to chase it down easily and they have done just that. Chasing 88, they got off to a poor start as they lost Gurbaz early on. But then, the duo of Lewis and Bopara decided to take matters into their own hands and went bang and bang, with Lewis scoring his half-century in just 16 balls, to chase this one down with 9 wickets to spare and also with 30 balls remaining.

SIX! Lewis finishes it off in style. Fullish delivery on off, Lewis goes over extra cover and deposits it over the extra cover fence for a biggie. DELHI BULLS WIN BY 9 WICKETS!

WIDE! Muktar tries to be away from Lewis' arc and bowls one well outside off. Lewis stretches but fails to get bat on ball. It is on the wrong side of the tramline and it has been wided.

SIX! Did not time it well but gets the maximum. Fuller on off and middle, Lewis goes across the line and smashes it over mid-wicket for a biggie.

SIX! Brute from Lewis! Back of a length delivery around off. It is not short enough nor is Muktar quick enough to trouble Lewis. It sits up nicely for Lewis and he tonks it over mid-wicket for a biggie.

On the pads, Lewis gets down on one knee and paddles it to the right of short leg. A little fumble there allows them to take two.
