Aaron Phangiso, Lions captain, says that he is really happy with the performance. Feels that this win was really important for them. Tells that the guys were working hard but couldn't get across the line in the last game. Says that they didn't do a lot of things different but kept it simple. Credits Myoli for his brilliant performance. On him, not bowling, the skipper says that he is nursing a niggle but hopes that he will be ready to bowl in the semi-finals.

Prenelan Subrayen, Dolphins captain, says that he felt that they were a few short with the bat. Feels that they know where they need to work on heading into the knockout round. Adds that playing that game at home will be fun.

Ayavuya Myoli is named Man of the Match for his 4-fer. He tells that he is really happy with his performance. Tells that he tried to keep it simple with the ball and attack the stumps and that worked for him. On the dropped chance off the final ball which could've been a fifer, Myoli says that he was disappointed but it happens.

Defending such a total, Dolphins needed a wicket or two early on. They didn't get that the Lions cruised along nicely. Frylinck did keep it tight from his end and broke the opening stand but none of the other bowlers put any pressure on the batters. Dupavillon was taken for plenty. Subrayen bowled economically but Dolphins needed wickets from him but it never came. Mokgakane got two wickets but his efforts fell short eventually. Stay tuned for the presentation.

All the batters who batted got the start and they made sure the side never felt the pressure of scoring rate. Rickelton and Hendricks started really well. Van den Bergh, Senokwane and Potgieter played important hands too but it was Dominin Hendricks who stood at his end and with a very good half ton made sure his side was within touch and go when he fell. Potgieter and Fortuin made sure the score was chased down with 8 balls left.

A calm and composed run chase in the end for the Lions. It never looked like they were in any sort of pressure throughout this run chase. And eventually, Potgieter's effort, in the end, took them home easily.

Lions looked a bit troubled early on when Erwee, Roelofsen and Ackerman were batting with excellent control. But they made a strong comeback in the game with Lubbe removing Roelofsen with a superb ball. He then ran out Chetty superbly. Myoli eventually took wickets in the middle overs and ended up with a 4-fer. He could've had 5 to his name but the fielder spilled a chance on the final ball of the innings.

After asked to bat first, Erwee and Roelofsen started really well but Erwee got hit on his elbow and he had to retired hurt. Ackerman partnered with Roelofsen after that and took Dolphins towards a commanding position. However, once Roelofsen fell, Dolphins lost their way as they lost a few wickets quickly. Erwee returned and added 67 runs with Muthusamy to once again regain some control. However, Erwee got out after getting to his half ton and that meant that Dolphins couldn't finish with a blast in the final few overs.

Good hand in the final over from Frylinck means that Dolphins have reached to a very good total where the bowlers can feel that they have a cushion of runs.
