Man of the Match, Kyle Mayers says the wicket was a lot better than the last game and it came onto the bat well. Adds there wasn't a lot of swing but he tries to take advantage of whatever is on offer.
One really can't blame the Challengers' bowlers, they just did not have enough on the board on a wicket which was good to bat! They will be disappointed with the way they let their opponents score the runs but they needed to be a lot better with the bat and we believe, that is where they lost the game.
What a thumping win for Fortune Barishal and they have proceeded to the next round. 136 just did not prove to be a challenge. They lost Sarkar early but Mayers and Tamim really went after the bowlers and took them to the cleaners. Mayers was at his devastating best and he scored a quick fire half ton. Tamim played the anchor role and ended with a half ton too. They needed just a couple of knocks to get over the line and they got it.
