That's all we have from this one-sided game. On Friday, Bangalore will be in action and they will be facing UP at 7.30 pm IST (2 pm GMT). Do join us in advance for the build-up. Cheers!
Saika Ishaque (3-0-13-3) picks up the Player of the Match award. Says that she is very happy with the performance and it's like a dream for her. Mentions that the captain and team management have supported her and she is delighted to deliver. Adds that she takes it one ball at a time and wants to keep performing well.
Harmanpreet Kaur, the captain of Mumbai, starts by praising her bowlers who make her job very easy. Tells that everyone contributed and she is very happy with the performance. Mentions that whenever one has so many bowling options, the captaincy gets easy and it is a key aspect in T20 cricket. Feels that they bowled some bad balls in the last game and today they corrected themselves and she is pretty happy. Credits Hayley Matthews and Yastika Bhatia for the way they batted and adds that she is happy with the overall performance. Mentions that now the wicket will get slower from hereon and they have to adapt. Hopes to keep doing well.
Yastika Bhatia (41 off 32 balls) comes up for an interview. The opener says that a few deliveries were holding back but overall it was a good pitch for batting. Adds that she plays on the merit of the ball and tries to keep her shape. Mentions that they were hitting the ball falling in her area. Calls Hayley Matthews a rockstar and she enjoys batting with her. Shares that being a keeper helps her a lot while batting in assessing the pitch conditions.
Meg Lanning, the captain of Delhi, says that hindsight is a wonderful thing. Tells that they were in a decent position till the 12th over but feels that they could not get enough runs after that. Says that she would like to take the blame and adds that she chew up some deliveries at the top and could not kick on and feels that it was the difference. She feels that the pitch had something for the bowlers. Adds that one cannot go into the middle with 180 in the mind at the start and need to build partnerships and take it on from there. States that the positives for them in this game were how Jemimah Rodrigues batted and took the game on and also applauds Alice Capsey for the way she bowled. Personally, Meg Lanning hopes to continue contributing with the bat in the coming games.
Stay tuned for a few interviews...
This victory for Mumbai was set up by their bowlers. Saika Ishaque was brilliant once again and she was well supported by the likes of Issy Wong and Hayley Matthews. They all picked up three wickets apiece. Hayley then turned up with the bat as well to cap off yet another all-round show. Mumbai will be delighted to have Yastika Bhatia back in form and all in all, they will be over the moon after registering their third massive win in a row.
It was supposed to be a battle between two powerhouses of batting. Unfortunately, Delhi failed to turn up and managed a paltry 105 on the board. Credit to Mumbai for the way they bowled. They maintained a solid tempo of disciplined bowling and kept chipping away at wickets regularly. Apart from one partnership of substance between Meg Lanning and Jemimah Rodrigues, there was nothing to write home about Delhi's batting. An evening to forget for them!
A walk in the park for Mumbai! They have made a complete mockery of the minuscule target and demolished it without breaking a sweat. Mumbai ticked all the boxes yet again this evening and are now the only unbeaten team this season.

FOUR! Natalie Sciver-Brunt finishes things in style! This is bowled fuller and on middle. Natalie Sciver-Brunt uses her feet, gets to the pitch of the ball and lofts it towards long on. The ball bounces just inside the fence and crosses it to finish things off with a boundary. Mumbai win by 8 wickets and with 30 balls to spare!
