Not a lot you can write about a bowling attack which has conceded 200 runs. Right from the word go, the bowlers took a pounding. The pacers were taken to the cleaners. The spinners though did bowl with some control, there was some assistance for them but poor show from the pace bowlers meant the visitors are going to be chasing a huge target.
An excellent performance from the hosts! Their openers set the platform with a powerful 92-run stand. Tamim missed out on a half ton but Das did get to his. The two however, departed in quick succession and Zimbabwe did have a sniff to crawl back into the game then but Rahim and Sarkar had different ideas. The two counter-attacked and added 40 in no time. Rahim departed but Sarkar continued hitting the bowlers to all parts of the ground. He batted with a strike rate of close 200 and ensured the hosts reach the 200-run mark.

It was never going to be out as even the naked eye could tell that it is pitched way outside leg. It is bowled flatter and around leg, Das rocks onto the back foot to pull it but he gets beaten and is hit on the front pad. There is an appeal but the umpire is unmoved. Wesley convinces his skipper to take the review and the replays roll in. First the front foot is checked and Wesley is fine on that. Next comes the Ultra Edge which says that no bat involved now its the turn of Ball Trackert to tell where it is pitching and it says that it is pitched outside leg. Zimbabwe lose their only review.

Hello and welcome to the 1st T20I between Bangladesh and Zimbabwe in Mirpur. Bangladesh won the ODI series 3-0 and they gave a heartwarming send off to their most successful skipper Mashrafe Mortaza. The hosts would look to continue their good run in the shortest format of the game. On the other hand, Zimbabwe would want to end their losing streak. Zimbabwe would want a better performance from their team and would look to arrest their losing streak.
