Right then, the six-time T20 World Champions, Australia Women have begun their campaign with a win and it's back-to-back defeats for Sri Lanka Women which makes it all that difficult for them to get out of the group stage. Alyssa Healy, the captain of Australia Women says she's happy with the win. Mentions they'll take some confidence going ahead. A thumping win to begin their campaign for the Aussies. To be honest, 94 was never going to be enough. They did lose a few wickets at the start but Ash Gardner and Beth Mooney put up a good stand to take them closer to the target. Gardner fell but Phoebe Litchfield along with Mooney who was the top scorer, ensured they took their side over the line.
