After Heather Knight opted to bat, the duo of Danni Wyatt-Hodge and Maia Bouchier made a watchful start which helped them get their eye in, and soon, they began to accelerate nicely. However, they lost a couple of quick wickets and the pressure started to fall on Wyatt-Hodge. She fell as well for 41 and almost all the middle order batters had single digit-scores next to their names. Sophie Ecclestone did manage to hit the first maximum of the innings that too on the penultimate delivery which took England close to the 120-run mark.
A solid comeback from Bangladesh Women after an expensive Powerplay and they have ended up suffocating a high-class English batting lineup and have set a great platform for the batters. England Women will know that they have the bowling to defend any total and will back themselves.

Two more! Fuller again. Sophie Ecclestone hits it handled down the ground. Wide of long on. Easy two.

SIX! Quite surprising why Sophie Ecclestone came so down the order because that's what she can do! She is very capable of going after the bowlers from ball one. That's a welcome biggie. Tossed up on middle. She lofts it down the ground and clears the long off fence.
Sophie Ecclestone is in next.
OUT! STUMPED! Lovely bowling. Sees Dean step out and bowls it quicker and outside off. Dean reaches out for it but fails to put bat on ball. She misses and the keeper does the rest.

Tossed up full and on middle, Charlie Dean drives it down to long on for one.
Charlie Dean is in at number 8.
OUT! EDGED AND TAKEN! Excellent glovework from Nigar Sultana. Nahida Akter keeps the length a tad short and fires it in around off. Dani Gibson looks to make room and hammer it square on the off side but gets a deflection off the outer edge. Nigar takes a fine catch low to her right and Gibson has to walk back as well. Bangladesh Women get their 6th scalp.
