Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni has been hitting the nets in order to be ready for the forthcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), which begins on April 17. Dhoni is still playing solely in the Indian Premier League after quitting international cricket in August 2020.
A photo of Dhoni rehearsing on the net has gone viral recently. Dhoni was spotted with a “Prime Sports” sticker on his bat in the photo of him working out in the nets.
It’s important to remember that MS Dhoni’s pal Paramjit Singh owns the Ranchi store, Prime Sports. Paramjit, who also assisted MS Dhoni in securing his first bat sponsor, had a significant impact on Dhoni’s career.

He doesn’t explain his plans to us. Mr. Viswanathan Kasi
The Indian Premier League’s decision to include MS Dhoni has generated a lot of discussion. Dhoni helped the Chennai Super Kings become the joint-most successful team in IPL history with five IPL titles, alongside the Mumbai Indians, after leading the team to a title victory in 2023.
Speaking of the IPL, CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan stated that only Dhoni knows if this season will be his final. Following his title victory, Dhoni made a pledge to the fans that he would play in another season.
“I’m not aware of that. You see, the captain will give you his direct response. According to NDTV, Viswanathan said, “He doesn’t tell us what he is going to do.”
The CEO also discussed Dhoni’s most recent knee operation, which he had in June 2023, following the 16th IPL season. Dhoni is currently in recovery and ought to return to play shortly.
“He is presently doing fine. His rehabilitation has begun. He went to work at the gym. Viswanathan recently stated, “And, probably in another 10 days, he’ll start working in the nets also.”
