The renowned Indian wrist spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has discussed his friendship with a number of notable Indian cricketers, including MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, and Rohit Sharma. One of the funniest members of the Indian team, Chahal is frequently spotted playing practical jokes on his teammates or filming amusing short films.
Chahal recently claimed in an interview that all of the team’s senior players are like his brothers since he can call them whenever he needs to talk about his troubles. Notably, Chahal is relishing his downtime and will return to the field for the forthcoming ODI and T20I series against the West Indies.
“My fellow players are my brothers. There are numerous persons I may contact at any moment and inform of my specific issue and desire to talk about it, including Mahi bhai, Virat bhai, Rohit bhai, and Sanju. On The Ranveer Show, Chahal added, “There are always willing to listen to me out.
The cricketer from Haryana went on to say that because the players spend so much time together, they become like a family.
“We talk to each other all the time. Once we’ve been together for a month, we feel like a family. I believe you don’t talk about things with your family as openly as you do with your teammates. Personal matters, future plans, and other topics are discussed. I’m unable to talk to my wife about some things, either. I’m trying, but just between 5 and 10 percent of the time,” he continued.
During the 2023 season, Yuzvendra Chahal surpassed all previous IPL wicket-takers.
With 187 wickets under his belt from 145 games, Yuzvendra Chahal just cemented his place in history as the IPL’s most wicket-taker. Former West Indian and Chennai Super Kings all-rounder Dwayne Bravo, who had taken 183 wickets in 161 games, was left in the wake of the 32-year-old who represented Rajasthan Royals in the 2023 season.
His next appearance will be in the West Indies ODI and T20I series, which gets underway on July 27. In order to be chosen for the team for the ODI World Cup 2023, which will begin on October 5 in India, the wristspinner will be eager to maintain his excellent form.
