The first two games of the five-match T20I series between the West Indies and England will be held in Bridgetown, while the final three games will be hosted at Gros Islet. The dates of the games are November 9, 10, 15, 17, and 18.
The Cricket West Indies (CWI) grabbed front stage prior to the series and revealed their starting lineup for the opening two games of the England series. The team welcomed back players like Andre Russell, Nicholas Pooran, Shimron Hetmyer, and Akeal Hosein.
In their most recent matches against Sri Lanka, the four players did not play for the West Indies. The team, which lost against Sri Lanka, has largely stayed the same with a few exceptions. It’s important to note that Matthew Forde replaced Alzarri Joseph, who was recently punished for abandoning the field in the middle of a game.
In addition, Rovman Powell will be captaining the team, and the West Indies will be looking to improve their performance in the shortest format. Following the squad’s announcement, West Indies head coach Darren Sammy expressed his opinion that choosing an XI from the roster can be difficult because each player has been fighting for a spot.
“With several seasoned players, our T20 team is our most established squad. But choosing the starting lineup will be tough because every player is fighting for a position.

I am sure that the chosen side will continue to play a style of cricket that helps us win games when we take on a very strong England team, and this ‘Rivalry’ series,” Sammy was quoted as saying.
