India now leads the current four-match series 2-1 after defeating South Africa by 11 runs in the third Twenty20 International. Heinrich Klaasen made a bold attempt to help South Africa out of the predicament. The visitors took an early hit as they batted first, losing Sanju Samson for a duck. Abhishek Sharma, who has recently struggled to score runs in international cricket, at last displayed his class by hitting a half-century off of just 25 deliveries. At the SuperSport Park in Centurion, Abhishek stitched a 107-run partnership with Tilak Varma, who was moved up to number three, that gave India the lead.
As India scored 219 runs for the loss of six wickets in the first innings, Tilak went on to strike an undefeated 107 runs off of just 56 balls. Varma’s skill at the crease earned him the Player of the Match title as well. Every other batter, however, found it difficult to get going. Rinku Singh scored eight runs and Hardik Pandya scored eighteen, while captain Suryakumar Yadav made just one. Debutant Ramandeep Singh made a crucial cameo towards the finish, scoring 15 off six to help the visitors to a commanding total.

A series of boundaries opened the second innings. Ryan Rickleton and Reeza Hendricks, the Proteas openers, scored 20 and 21, respectively. Following that, Tristan Stubbs scored 12 runs and captain Aiden Markram scored 29 runs off of 18 deliveries. Heinrich Klaasen made a bold attempt to help South Africa out of the predicament, but the opposition offered him very little assistance.
Klaasen was under pressure because senior batter David Miller was having a lot of trouble. Klaasen quickly followed Miller in the dressing room as he hammered 41 runs off 22 deliveries after Miller left after scoring 18 off 18. Despite his best efforts, he was ultimately unable to keep the Proteas in the chase. Even after Arshdeep Singh took his wicket, South Africa persisted.
Arshdeep Singh, who once again had an outstanding game and took three wickets, was ultimately responsible for the Men in Blue finishing the job.

Even though the all-rounder Marco Jansen kept them in the hunt with an incredible 54 runs off just 17 deliveries, it was insufficient.

Fascinating game of Cricket! Special knock from Verma👏thing is, I don’t believe this is out of reach for SA. If Klaassen and Miller bat through they’ll get there. Klaassen is special to watch! Need Miller to get going too

That’s a pretty solid catch by Axar. He’s turned out to be quite a versatile cricketer.
