A lot of people will be watching the Indian Premier League (IPL) trade window as all-around hero Hardik Pandya prepares to rejoin the Mumbai Indians, the team he started with in the lucrative league. Prior to IPL 2022, Hardik departed the Mumbai Indians. He joined the Gujarat Titans, one of the two new clubs that the tournament had added that season. Hardik was also assigned the side’s leadership role, and he performed admirably. Before Gujarat lost to the Chennai Super Kings in this year’s final, he led them to the title in the previous season. But it appears that he will rejoin the Mumbai Indians when the trade window ends on Sunday, November 26. Hardik’s Baroda teammate, Irfan Pathan, is said to have made a subtle jab at the 30-year-old for quitting Gujarat.
Irfan Pathan didn’t mention names in a tweet on his official ‘X’ handle, but the timing of the message line up with the announcement of Hardik’s return.
“Use and throw have been the real characteristics since the start.” Here is how X users responded to the identical post that Irfan posted.
