The ACC Men’s Emerging Teams Asia Cup roster has been released by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC). From July 13 to July 23, Sri Lanka will host the fifth iteration of the competition.
The team’s captain will be Dunith Wellalage, and the two available wicketkeepers are Minod Bhanuka and Lahiru Udara. The team for the competition received approval from Roshan Ranasinghe, the honorable minister of sports and youth affairs. Group A includes Sri Lanka A, Oman A, Bangladesh A, and Afghanistan A in addition to other teams. India A, Pakistan A, the UAE A, and Nepal A make up Group B.
It should be intriguing to see which team wins the 10-day contest now that the event is about to start. Six of the eight teams in the event have already revealed their lineups. Mohammad Haris will captain Pakistan A, with Yash Dhull serving as the team’s captain and Abhishek Sharma serving as his assistant. Saif Hassan will captain Bangladesh A, Shahidullah Kamal will oversee Afghanistan A, and Rohit Paudel will guide Nepal.
Sri Lanka 50-over competition will be played in a round-robin format, with the winners of both groups meeting in the semifinals. It is important to note that India A won the women’s competition in Bangladesh, which took place in June. The men’s competition followed the 50-over format, while the women’s competition followed the T20 format.
