In the second ODI in Indore, the opener once again smashed a brilliant century against the Kangaroos, and he and Shreyas combined for 200 runs to help India score 399 runs overall.
Shubman Gill also commended Iyer, adding that the Mumbai-born batsman shifted the momentum after he got to the crease, in a video made available by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
Shubman Gill remarked following the game, “The way he came in and took on the charge shifted the momentum for us.
Shubman Gill had a captivating appearance from the other end, Shreyas Iyer retorted. The opener scored 104 runs off of 97 pitches, bringing his total for the year to 1230. Additionally, he prayed that Gill would maintain his winning ways and continue to lead the nation in victories.
