In the 19th match of the 2024 Indian Premier League, between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK), all-rounder Shivam Dube of the Chennai Super Kings once again demonstrated his tremendous strength. The southpaw hit two fours and four sixes in his innings while putting together a rapid-fire 45 (24) knock. After CSK was 54/2 after 7.1 overs, having failed to take advantage of the powerplay fielding restrictions, Dube came in to bat.
The southpaw faced T. Natarajan in the twelfth over of the inning and hit him for two consecutive sixes. The initial blow was a contemptuous strike against a brief delivery that was placed across a deep, square leg. The ball that was traveling toward the leg side was lofted in the same direction as the other one.
