In their second Indian Premier League 2024 (IPL 2024) match versus the Gujarat Titans on Tuesday, March 26 at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, the defending champion Chennai Super Kings (CSK) once again displayed their batting prowess. Shivam Dube once again top-scored with 51 (23), as the Ruturaj Gaikwad-led team amassed a mammoth total of 206/6 in the 20 overs given.
After starting the season strong in the first game, the southpaw carried over and produced another amazing show of forceful hitting, hammering two fours and five massive sixes in his inning. In the eleventh over of his innings, the southpaw hit a maximum straight down the ground off R. Sai Kishore. When he further flipped him for a huge six on the very next ball of the over, he launched the ball way over deep square leg.
