Prior to the Indian team’s tour of the island nation, Sanath Jayasuriya was chosen the team’s temporary coach in Sri Lanka. The CEO of Sri Lanka Cricket, Ashley de Silva, expressed optimism about the intended resolution involving the veteran player from Sri Lanka and stated that talks are now under progress.
“We are nearing the end of our contract negotiations with him. You will probably hear more in the next two to three days,” Ashley said.
