Sairaj Bahutule will be named the acting bowling coach for the forthcoming tour to Sri Lanka by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
Morne Morkel has had discussions with the officials, but they have not yet come to an agreement on terms. Bahutule will be helping the men’s team in the meantime. He is also connected to the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru.
On July 22, he will depart with the Indian team and the coaching staff. According to the appointments of Ryan ten Doeschate, T Dilip, and Abhishek Nayar are also set in stone and will be revealed during the press conference on the day of the trip. Along with chief selector Ajit Agarkar, Gautam Gambhir will also speak at the press conference.
