Thus, confidence and form, as of late, have played a major role. It also involves supply and demand. Numerous teams are seeking leadership positions to be filled in the changing room as well as as captains. Pat Cummins, then, fully merits his price.

That is a hefty fee. Rs. 20 crores was not anticipated. Although we expected him to demand a greater fee, Rs 20 crore sets a record. The desperate attempt to get entry may be related to SRH’s possible search for a captain. It is possible that RCB was also considering a long-term skipper. Pat Cummins has my best wishes. It would be the cherry on top if there were three trophies, though.
