In preparation for the forthcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, which will begin on October 5, Pak has announced its 18-member roster, including three reserves. The squad was announced on September 22 during a news conference by Pakistan’s top selector, Inzamam-ul-Haq.
Due to Naseem Shah’s right shoulder injury sustained during the 2023 Asia Cup, Pakistan suffered a significant setback. Shaheen Shah Afridi is slated to lead Pak pace attack, which will also include Haris Rauf and veteran pacer Hasan Ali.
