But as know, you can always join us early for the build-up which begins shortly. Until then, goodbye and cheers!

Earlier in the game, the Chennai Braves posted a decent score of 115 on the back of a brilliant 84* off just 39. He single-handedly smacked the bowlers all around and was impressive with the bat. Dwaine Pretorius, the Team Abu Dhabi skipper, was impressive with the ball picking 2 for 21 in his spell. Team Abu Dhabi hasn't got the desired start and will hope to get back into winning ways going forward.
All the bowlers did their job with the ball for the Braves. Sam Cook and Junaid Siddique were the pick of the bowlers as they nailed their yorkers and slower balls to perfection while Obed McCoy held his nerve and defended the required runs in the final over. Chennai Braves are off to a winning start and get the important points to start their campaign.
It was a nerve-wracking finish to this game where the Chennai Braves got past the finish line and won this one by just 4 runs. Chasing 116 for the win, Mayers and Hales got them off to a decent start but both batters were dismissed in quick succession. Team Abu Dhabi were reduced to 55 for 4 before Colin Ingram (21* off 15) and Leus du Plooy (47* off 18) stitched a 56-run stand but they eventually fell short in the end.
