UPDATE - 1413 GMT - The last a game can start is 1540 GMT, that will be a 20-over game. The chances though look bleak as the rain is still coming down and the ground will take sometime to be ready for a game.
UPDATE - 1313 GMT - The covers are back on again! The rain isn't heavy but it is consistent. The wait goes on...
UPDATE - 1252 GMT - The rain has stopped again and the covers are coming off AGAIN! Let's hope it stays away for good now.
UPDATE - 1205 GMT - Well, the covers did come off for a while but they are back on again and the rain has returned! Doesn't seem very heavy, the ground staff are still on the ground but the covers are firmly in placed. Well, scratch what we just wrote, more covers are being got on and the rain has got heavier.
UPDATE - 1142 GMT- It's been more than an hour now since the delay and we just might start losing overs! Well, just as we write that, we have some very good news coming in, THE COVERS ARE COMING OFF!
UPDATE - 1100 GMT - Nothing new to update for now, it continues to rain and the covers are firmly on. The waiting game continues.
UPDATE - (1014 GMT) - The heavens have opened up! It's coming down quite steadily and it has got really dark. The covers have now come on.
