Credit to Oval Invincibles Women for showing their fighting spirit. They took wickets at regular intervals and kept the pressure on but in the end, they were short of runs. Welsh Fire Women will be slightly disappointed with how they chase but extremely happy with how they bowled. It was a complete bowling performance from them.
What an entertaining match it turned out to be! Who would have thought Oval Invincibles Women will take it so deep! They fought for each and every run but as expected, they felt short. Another 15-20 runs and they were right in the game. Welsh Fire Women needed just one good partnership to chase it down. It wasn't straightforward but the knocks from Sophia Dunkley and Georgia Elwiss helped Welsh Fire Women to chase this small score.
