Georgia Adams is the PLAYER OF THE MATCH for her all-around performance. She says that her bowling has come a long way in the last few years and it came off in this game. Tells that she did not expect to bowl in such a key moment of the game and she is happy to get two crucial wickets. Mentions that the atmosphere in the group is quite good and tells that she knows a lot of the girls from the Southern Vipers days and tells that she is fitting into the team nicely.
Earlier, after an excellent start by the openers of the Brave, they fell off the track off in the middle phase but Adams and Kemp at the back end did well to take the score above 150. Oval Invincibles bowlers did well to get rid of the middle order but failed to apply the pressure in the final phase. It proved out to be a huge score as Oval Invincibles Women failed to reach near the target.
The top four of Oval Invincibles got a start but no one shifted the gears. It looked like the Invincibles struggled a bit against the spinners and that caused the required run rate to go up. Eva Gray and Ryana Macdonald-Gay showed some determination in the end but there was too much for them to chase. If they would have got a bit of support from the middle order, they could have chased it.
An excellent bowling performance from Southern Brave Women have sealed the win for them. They had a decent score on the board and the bowlers needed to be right on the money to keep the Invincibles under control. The Brave bowled tight and kept chipping in with wickets regularly. The spinners especially used the pitch really well. In the end, it was a hard-fought win for the Southern Brave Women.

SIX! It's a maximum off the last delivery but it is not enough to take Oval Invincibles Women over the line! This is a slower fullish delivery on middle. Gray gets under it and hits it just over the long on fielder for a maximum. Southern Brave Women win by 12 runs!
