Annabel Sutherland wins the Player of the Match award. She says they bowled really well and put together with the bat, feels very nice. Adds there was bit in the wicket and few came off well for her. Shares they were positive after their last game and they came in with a positive mindset in today's game.
Oval Invincibles Women had just above par to chase. The start though wasn't great at all as they kept losing wickets regularly. The way they lost the wicket was demoralising. Paige Scholfield and Amanda-Jade Wellington tried to build a stand but once they fell, it was Annabel Sutherland who ripped through the tail to end with four wickets. A proper all-round performance to wrap things up for her team. A day to forget for Oval Invincibles Women but Northern Superchargers Women will be flying high after the win.
What a game! What a morale boosting win for Northern Superchargers Women who finally win their first game of the season. The odds were against them at the start of the game but it was a dominating performance from them. Northern Superchargers Women needed something special to win here and early on it was Phoebe Litchfield and Annabel Sutherland who did the damage. The former missed out on her fifty but Annabel Sutherland continued her merry way to get past her fifty but more importantly get a good total on the board.
