Sophie Devine the skipper of New Zealand Women says that she is really proud of the group, with the way they played. Adds that they are trusting the process and hopes that they have the momentum going into the final group match. Mentions that there are a lot of positives to take from this match. Informs it is all to play for in the last match for them. Says that they will try to stick to their plan.
Nigar Sultana the skipper of Bangladesh Women says that they fumbled a bit and they are more capable than what they played. Adds that they are improving from time to time and they will keep on continuing. Ends by saying that they will keep on giving their best.

Earlier in the game, New Zealand Women got off to a flying start and ended up with a mammoth total of 189 runs. Suzie Bates remained unbeaten playing an excellent knock of 81 runs. The Bangladesh Women bowlers struggled a lot to pick the wickets. They only managed to take three wickets. Fahima Khatun picked two whilst Shorna Akter took one.
Bangladesh Women were under the pump right from the word go. They kept on losing wickets whenever a good partnership was brewing. Murshida Khatun and Shorna Akter played fine innings and the rest of all the batters struggled. Overall, it was a comfortable victory for the New Zealand Women.
That was a fine, fine bowling display from the New Zealand Women. They had to defend a huge total of 189 runs and they did it well. Eden Carson was the pick of the bowlers as she bagged three wickets. Hannah Rowe was excellent too and she chipped two wickets for the team. Amelia Kerr and Lea Tahuhu picked one each. Seven bowlers were used by New Zealand Women throughout and all the bowlers were economical.
