Morrisville Samp Army finally taste a defeat for the first time. They bat deep but struggled to time today. They were off to a good start but after that the struggle started. Moeen Ali stayed almost till the end but never looked like he will change the tides. It looked like the pitch changed in the second half but more than that, it was good bowling from the Strikers. Earlier, knocks from Paul Stirling and Azam Khan helped New York Strikers get past 100. It looked a par score and the bowlers stepped up big to hand Morrisville Samp Army their first defeat.
An excellent bowling performance from New York Strikers. They have done really well to keep Morrisville Samp Army at bay. They were coming against a good batting line up but Kieron Pollard did well to shuffle his pack and the bowlers changed their pace regularly to keep the required run rate in check. Kieron Pollard is one happy skipper. New York Strikers used 8 bowlers and all of them made a good effort. Two big points for New York Strikers.
