That's all from this game! What a match we have witnessed and it is again Northern Warriors who came out on top. Ohh poor Pune Devils! They have been on the other side of a demolition. Whoever came to bowl received a thrashing at the hands of the Warriors. Sam Wisniewski did pick up two wickets but it was too late and they were thrashed by the Warriors. Their last game in this edition of the T10 League has ended in a sour manner and they would hope to come back stronger in the next edition. Stay tuned for the presentation.
Do we need to talk about what happened? It was a complete massacre. The Warriors needed 98 runs to win in 10 overs but Waseem Muhammad and Brandon King made a mockery of the run chase as they scored 71 in 3 overs before King fell. Pooran did not last long but Waseem Muhammad continued on his merry way and finished things off along with Rovman Powell. Muhammad scored a fine 50 and there was no looking back for them. It was entertaining to the core.
A stunning chase comes to an end! 97 was never going to be enough in 10 overs but what we saw was mayhem! Waseem Muhammad, Brandon King and Rovman Powell took the game by the scruff of its neck and finished the game with 33 balls to spare. Simply superb. The Devils were looking deflated and nobody had a good outing.
