It was rather just an off day at work for Nellai. Their batters were really tested earlier and succumbed under pressure as they lost four wickets inside the Powerplay itself. The Tiruppur bowlers put the game to bed with ease. Sonu Yadav tried his best with the bat but got out on 35. Later he even tried to work his magic with the ball in hand but it was too little too late. Nellai should not spend much time in licking their wounds, and rather take plenty of learnings from this encounter and try to get better at it. P Bhuvaneswaran was an inspiration with the ball for Tiruppur and he just bulldozed through the Nellai batting department.
Tiruppur were under immense pressure coming into this game as they had no points besides their name so far, but they have beaten Nellai - who were unbeaten so far in this campaign.
