Namibia beat Zimbabwe by 7 wickets

That's all we have from this one-sided contest. Namibia turned up with full force against a Test-playing nation, but the same was missing from Zimbabwe. These two will clash again on 25th October (Wednesday) at 5.30 pm IST (12 pm GMT) for the second match of the series. Let's hope for a competitive game. Cheers!
Zimbabwe were listless with the bat, where they could only manage a paltry score. We witnessed a similar performance from them with the ball, but that department has the excuse of defending next to nothing. Nikolaas Davin played an impressive role with the bat, and his knock had the right intensity, which never allowed Zimbabwe to get a sniff of making a comeback.
A comprehensive victory for Namibia to kick-start this 5-match T20I series on a brighter note. In a game where the chase required them to score a little over 6 RPO, getting a quick start nearly put the match to bed. Namibia did lose two wickets in the Powerplay, but by scoring 53 runs during that period, they removed the scoreboard pressure and eventually achieved the target with 38 balls to spare.
