India U19 skipper, Priyam Garg says that he is very happy to get to the final and are one step closer to their aim now. He feels that they have the best bowling attack in the tournament as their pacers bowl around 140 kph and their spinners are very consistent with their lines and lengths as well. On the combination of Jaiswal and Saxena , Garg adds that this is not the first time that they have done this and that they have been doing it for a long time now. Says their the running between the wickets is good and they complement each other. On being asked about the final, Garg says that he wants his team to focus on the same process and play the final as just another game.

Pakistan U19 skipper, Rohail Nazir is down for an interview. He says that the wicket was good but they did not put up a good total on the board. Says that at the halfway stage when Pakistan were batting, they were going good but in the middle overs the crucial partnership never came and that hurt them. Yashasvi Jaiswal has been named the Man of the Match for his fantastic unbeaten ton. He starts by saying that this is a dream come true for him and these feelings cannot be described in words. The spinners did not take too many wickets today but combined figures of 17-0-75-3 are more than acceptable between Ravi Bishnoi and Atharva Ankolekar. Yashasvi Jaiswal bowled his part-time leggies and returned with a scalp of the set Haider as well.

Just 3 batsmen managed double figures - Haider Ali, Rohail Nazir and Mohammad Haris - the rest just withered away. In fact, the last 6 wickets fell for just 26 runs. A monumental collapse. Indian captain, Priyam Garg, says that he is happy bowling first. On the hype surrounding Ind-Pak matches, Priyam says that the crowd makes it more hyped than the players and the latter simply look to play it as a normal game. On being asked which is India's stronger aspect, Garg touts bowling as India's strong factor. Informs that India too, are going unchanged from the previous game.

Pakistan's skipper, Rohail Nazir, says that he is batting because it's a semi-final and they want to put runs on the board and defend it. Adds that this is the time to make a mark in a big game against India. On the rivalry, he replies that it's always a bigger one and they are looking forward to the challenge. Nazir wants to play good cricket and informs that they are unchanged.

If we recap the performances of these two units, both come across as a team well-equipped to last the distance. The bowling attacks of India and Pakistan are loaded with talent and since the pitches are getting tired, the spinners are expected to play a major role. On the batting front, the Indians will be in a good space after surviving the challenge of Australia and that would have given them handy confidence. For Pakistan, they too were in a tricky position against Afghanistan but since the target wasn't too much, they survived a scare and sailed through eventually.
