Riley Meredith is the Player of the Match for his outstanding performance with the ball. He claimed three wickets in his four overs and conceded just 12 runs.

A much needed win for the Hurricanes! They chose to bat first but ended with a below-par score. A couple of cameos from Nathan Ellis and Joel Paris helped them to bowl something at. They needed a good start and Hobart Hurricanes took three wickets in no time. There was a stand between Finch and Wells but Shadab Khan showed his magic as he struck twice and removed both of them. In the end, the bowlers turned up and fought for each run and it turned out to be an impressive victory for Hobart Hurricanes. Melbourne Renegades on the other hand will be gutted as they have lost what looked like an easy win.
A low scoring thriller! What looked like a one-sided match at the innings-break turned out to be a thriller. What a knock though from Will Sutherland. He kept his team in the game right till the last over. Melbourne Renegades needed that type of knock at the start but kept on losing wickets. Their key players like Andre Russell and Akeal Hosein didn't make an impact. Will Sutherland though kept the hopes alive but his wonderful effort went in vain as Melbourne Renegades tumbled away.
