Comilla Victorians beat Dhaka Dominators by 33 runs

Right then, that is all we have from this game. However, we have another game coming up your way on this Super Thursday where Fortune Barishal will be taking on Rangpur Riders at 6 pm IST (12.30 pm GMT). Do join us for the build-up of that game. Cheers!
Imrul Kayes, the skipper of Comilla Victorians says that it is a great win for them and they were in a bad situation after opening three games and he is happy to win now. Tells that they had a plan and they believed that if one batter stays in the middle, the rest of the batters can go for the shots. Says that the bowlers were fantastic in the Powerplay and feels that bowling is a bit of concern with Fizz not playing and he hopes that he comes back soon.
Khushdil Shah is the PLAYER OF THE MATCH. He says that he tries to perform his role in the team and tries to finish the innings. He says that he starts a bit slower and then goes for his shots. Talks about the wicket and says that it was a bit slow and adds that he tries to enjoy whatever he does in the middle.
Nasir Hossain, the skipper of Dhaka Dominators says that the last five overs with the ball pegged them back and credits Khushdil Shah for the way he batted. He hopes that his top order can score more runs.
Time for the Presentation.
Comilla Victorians, well, they should thank Khushdil Shah for this victory. They were really struggling to get a competitive total until Khushdil Shah unleashed his might and took them to a score of over 180. He smashed 64 off just 24 balls and Rizwan too supported him well on his way to a fifty. With the ball, Tanvir Islam was crafty again and gave away just 12 runs in his four overs along with one wicket. Khushdil Shah also provided a crucial breakthrough when he got rid of Ahmed Shehzad with a direct hit from point and overall, Comilla Victorians look like a formidable unit now with all bases covered.
Dhaka Dominators started this game on a bright note and kept things tight with the ball till the 15th over. However, they gave away 84 runs in the last five overs and apart from Taskin Ahmed, all the bowlers were taken to the cleaners. So, with a huge score to chase, Dhaka Dominators needed their struggling top order to fire but that was not the case again and they were reduced to 34 for 3 in the seventh over. Post that, Nasir Hossain did build couple of producive partnerships with Mohammad Mithun and Ariful Haque but they started very slow and needed someone to play the kind of knock Khushdil Shah played in the first innings but that was not the case and they have lost four games in a row now.
Comilla Victorians have notched up another win and have made it three in a row now! That superb knock from Khushdil Shah at the backend of Comilla Victorians have made all the difference in the end and though Dhaka Dominators skipper, Nasir Hossain fought till the end. it was too much to do for him in the end.
