So that is it from the T20I series between the two! Now it is time for the longest format which begins on the 21st of November in Brisbane at 1000 local (0000 GMT). Till then take care and goodbye!
Australian skipper, Aaron Finch, says he is really proud of his boys. States the commitment they have shown is excellent and they are improving as a team. Mentions the way Agar bowled recently has been exceptional especially on such wickets. Further adds every bowler has contributed their bit and have been excellent throughout. Also tells, they always want their top three to bat deep and that is what their aim is and he hopes there are bigger things to come.
Pakistan skipper, Babar Azam, says he is very disappointed with the way he lost but they have learnt a lot in this series and they would look to take the positives forward. States they need to keep learning and do not repeat the mistakes moving ahead. Mentions the young quickies are really good but Finch and Warner are destructive but it is a learning curve for the youngsters. Ends by saying they have a few days to get ready for the Test series and they are excited for it.
MAN OF THE SERIES, Steven Smith, says it was great to contribute in this series, he only had the chance to bat once so it was surprising. States the bowlers were great and it was a good performance all around. Mentions you always want to do well for the team and keep getting better and he hopes to remain consistent.
Man of the Match, Sean Abbott, says it is a privilege to be named in a XI which has done well lately. States he was nervous early on but it went well. Mentions he kept working hard and kept trying to put in good performances and had the luck to represent the country. Ends by saying he was welcomed really well by the team and they made his job easier.
David Warner is down for an interview. Starts by saying that it has been a fantastic start to the summer. When asked about Kane Richardson, Warner mentions he has bowled fantastically. Further adds that they have set the bar high going into the World Cup. Says they need to keep performing heading into the World Cup next year. About Sean Abbott, Warner says how great he has been and he has been rewarded. On his own performances, Warner adds that he has to keep practicing in the nets and wants to do the right things to help his team.
In return, the Aussie openers did what they have been doing throughout this series, attack the Pakistan bowlers. They did it quite easily and have won this game without losing a wicket. So they take the series 2-0. Let me remind you it would have well been 3-0 had the rain not interrupted in the first game. Also, had it been 3-0, Australia would have gone to the top of the T20I rankings. Nevertheless, they will still be pleased with what they have achieved. Stay tuned for the presentation.
Australia have chased this down without breaking any sweat and that was expected. We do not think anybody had a doubt about this not being chased. Credit to Warner and Finch but most of the credit has to be given to their bowlers who set it for them by restricting the Pakistan side to 106 after winning the toss and electing to bowl.

We are back for the chase. The Pakistan players are out in the middle. David Warner and skipper Aaron Finch will open the batting for Australia. Mohammad Amir will start the proceedings for Pakistan.
He says that he enjoyed the two wickets on his return. Adds that he has been in the groove for a while but he is happy to be back. Tells that he has been training for a while and he is happy that he got the opportunity to play.
Now then, the way the Australian top-order has been batting, this should be an easy chase. But with Pakistan, predicting anything too early is not good. Will the Pakistan bowlers do something like their counterparts and manufacture a win or will the Australian juggernaut continue to roll? Join us for the run chase. In the meantime, Sean Abbott is down for an interview.
For the Australians, everything has gone their way today. First, they won the toss and elected to bowl and then they kept taking wickets at regular intervals. Starc did the damage with the new ball. Abbott and Richardson did a good job in the middle overs and Stanlake and Agar also played their roles well. Overall an excellent bowling performance from the hosts and they would surely fancy themselves to chase this total down. Anything other than that will be a big surprise.
Another sorry display with the bat for Pakistan! 8 single digit scores for them. Just the one man, Iftikhar Ahmed, showed fight and like the last game, he was the top scorer. However, he fought a lone battle and despite his effort, Pakistan are nowhere close to a score which should worry the Aussies.

Imam after taking the first run, decides for the second very late. OUT! Stumps shattered! Another one bites the dust. Starc is on fire. What an inswinging delivery to shatter the stumps. This came tailing back in to the right-hander. It pitches on middle and goes the other way as Rizwan looks to bring his bat down. He misses out and the ball goes behind to disturb the timber. A golden duck for Rizwan.
Mohammad Rizwan is in at no.3.

OUT! Umpire's call and Australia get a massive wicket. What a comeback ball from Starc. A full, inswinging delivery. Azam looks to flick it away but can't make any connection. The ball thuds into the pads and Starc makes a loud appeal. The umpire takes his time and raises the finger. Azam, after consulting the non-striker, opts for the review. Here comes the Hot Spot, no bat on that. Nothing on the Snicko either. Where is it hitting? Here comes the Ball Tracker and it shows that it is clipping leg which means umpire's call. Pakistan keep their review but a huge blow for them early on.
Review time! Pakistani skipper and in form batsman Babar Azam is the man in question as he has been adjudged LBW.

FOUR! Up and over this time. Not from the middle of the bat but Imam will take it. This is the first one of the innings. Slightly full on middle, Imam skips down the track and manages to power it over the mid on fielder. It races to the fence.
A bit of a light moment in the commentary box as Adam Gilchrist wishes Brett Lee a very happy birthday. Co-commentator Mark Howard has no idea and quips, 'Is it?' 'Yeah!' says Gilly in his true on-imitable style. We also, would take this moment to wish the speedster a happy birthday. Happy 43rd, Binga!

The Australian players step out onto the ground and are taking their fielding positions. They are followed by the Pakistani openers, new inclusion Imam-ul-Haq and skipper Babar Azam. Mitchell Starc to start the proceedings with the ball.
Pakistan Playing XI - Imam-ul-Haq (in for Fakhar Zaman), Babar Azam (C), Mohammad Rizwan (WK), Haris Sohail, Iftikhar Ahmed, Khushdil Shah (Debut, in for Asif Ali), Imad Wasim, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Amir, Mohammad Hasnain (in for Mohammad Irfan), Muhammad Musa (Debut, in for Wahab Riaz).
Australia Playing XI - (Playing XI): David Warner, Aaron Finch (C), Steven Smith, Ben McDermott, Ashton Turner, Alex Carey (WK), Ashton Agar, Sean Abbott (in for Pat Cummins), Mitchell Starc, Kane Richardson, Billy Stanlake.
Toss - Australia win the toss and have opted to bowl first.
After a washout at Sydney in the first T20I, it was Australian domination in the 2nd T20I. In the 2nd game, the visitors managed to reach 150 runs, courtesy a late blitz from Iftikhar Ahmed. However, against the Australian top-order that looked too small a target and Steven Smith with an unbeaten 82-run knock took the side home comfortably. David Warner and Aaron Finch are in red-hot form for the Kangaroos. The pace attack comprising of Starc, Richardson and Cummins are chipping in with wickets while Zampa and Agar are doing exceptionally well for the side. For the visitors, the entire batting is revolving around skipper Babar Azam. Others around him have not done any justice with the bat as of yet. The no.1 ranked side's bowling unit is missing the cutting edge and have not been able to perform the way the side wants them too. Now, it is the final T20I. Australia would want to win this one before the longer format starts. The Green team, on the other hand, would look to register the first win of the series to level it. Will the Australians be able to win consecutive T20I series or will Babar Azam's men stop the Aussie juggernaut to level the series? We will get to know all these soon. Stay with us for the Toss and team update soon.
