That is it from this game. Perth Scorchers extend their winning run to 5 games now. The action in BBL continues on 13th January, Wednesday, and it is a big one. The top two collide in the Sydney derby. Sydney Thunder take on Sydney Sixers. That game begins at 1915 local (0815 GMT). Join us for that one. Till then, good bye and take care!
For his superb innings, Jason Roy is named the Player of the Match. Roy says that they have been unlucky but today was not the case. Roy says that even though they got off to a tough start the boys have been smiling and getting their rewards now. Tells he has not spoken to Marsh but hopes he will come back soon as he is a strong guy. Roy says they have peaked at the right time but need to get going.
The Hobart bowlers started off nicely but once Roy and Livingstone got into their own, they had no answers to the hitting. Also, they did not have enough to defend on a wicket which was a good one to bat on. Have to say, Hobart were completely outplayed in all three departments here today.
Roy and Livingstone ripped apart this bowling attack as the two added 123! Both scored half tons. Livingstone fell but Roy continued. Him along with Inglis ensured they got over the line without losing anymore wickets.
A thumping win in the end for Perth! It was just not Hobart's day to be honest. They lacked intent in their batting and then, they dropped a catch early on in their innings and after that it was one way traffic.

THAT IS IT! Scorchers finish it in a bizzare way but a comprehensive win for Scorchers. Short ball on the body. Roy pulls it uppishly. It falls to Lamichhane at fine leg. He is a little slow to react. The ball hits Sandeep and goes to his right. He has no clue where the ball is. The batters meanwhile take two and finish the game. PERTH SCORCHERS WIN BY 9 WICKETS!
