The first 14 matches of the Indian Premier League 2024 (IPL 2024) have provided spectators with a fantastic display of cricket action, as they have witnessed some incredible moments on the pitch. The 17th T20 spectacular has already witnessed it all, from incredible hitting to breathtaking catches. On Monday, April 1, at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, during the Mumbai Indians vs. Rajasthan Royals game, Shimron Hetmyer once again lit up the competition with another incredible catch.
MI was placed in trouble after being assigned to bat first when they were reduced to 20/4 in 3.3 overs by Rajasthan’s seamers. The management had to change their batting order as a result of the collapse, moving Piyush Chawla up to the seventh spot. The five-time champions’ tinkering, though, was in vain as the southpaw was removed for a cheap three runs off of six in the 12th over, thanks to a spectacular catch at point by Shimron Hetmyer.

The ball was travelling from the right point when Chawla struck it in the air on the opening ball of Avesh Khan’s over. A screamer was completed when Hetmyer, positioned in the fielding position, swiftly sprung to his full height to his right. With just 83 runs scored in 11.1 overs, MI consequently lost their sixth wicket.
