On Saturday night, Virat Kohli, the star batsman for India, departed for Australia with his family. The first group, which included Mohammed Siraj, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Shubman Gill, among others, departed on Sunday, while the second group is currently its route to Australia. Notably, Sarfaraz Khan, the coaching and support staff, and top cricket players Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja are traveling with the second group.
According to reports, Jasprit Bumrah is not accompanying the team on their trip. There are no confirmed grounds for his departure from India later today. KL Rahul, Abhimanyu Easwaran, and Dhruv Jurel had already arrived in Australia and booked into the Perth team hotel. According to rumors, the Indian team’s preparation camp for the Australia series will begin on November 12 at WACA; however, considering the players’ schedules, the first day may be optional.

In the meanwhile, captain Rohit Sharma has not accompanied the team on their trip, and his attendance at the first Test is still uncertain. He might miss the first game of the series because of personal matters, but head coach Gautam Gambhir stated in the press conference prior to their trip to Australia that it would be confirmed later.
For India to secure a WTC final spot, they must win 4-0.
Significantly, India is under a lot of strain following a crushing 3-0 series loss to New Zealand at home. It left them in a tough position because the team coached by Rohit now needs to defeat Australia 4-0 in the five-match series to secure their ticket in the WTC final. They have performed admirably in the Down Under in recent years, but this time it will be very difficult.

When Rohit is unable to play, Bumrah will captain the side in Perth, and Jaiswal will be paired with either Abhimanyu Easwaran or KL Rahul at the top of the order.
