Nahid Rana, the newest sensation in Bangladesh, has amazed everyone with his speed and current play. All eyes are on the 21-year-old speedster as the Bangladeshi cricket team gets ready for their next Test series against the Indians.
Rana routinely reached 150 kmph in Bangladesh’s historic 2-0 victory over Pakistan earlier in the match. His best performance came during the second innings of the last Test in Rawalpindi, where he was instrumental in Bangladesh’s victory, taking four wickets at a cost of just 44 runs. The man from Chapainawabganj is prepared for a more difficult task ahead.
“We’re ready for the India series. Our training has begun. Our execution during the matches will be better the more prepared we are. Although India is a strong team, the winner will be the one who plays better cricket. “We’ll see when we get there,” Rana stated in a Bangladesh Cricket video posted on.
I’ll do my hardest to give it my all: Nahid Rana
Aside from his most recent adventures, his rise to the international stage is astounding. After graduating from college, he started serious cricket training in 2020. He went from being a zero to a national hero in just three years. He made his First-Class debut in October 2021 and achieved success on the international scene quite rapidly.
“I’ll make an effort to offer my all. You can’t always predict pace because it varies greatly with rhythm. Sometimes everything simply clicks, and you find yourself reaching those speeds all of a sudden. I never intended to go faster than 152 kmph. My only concern was carrying out the team’s plan. “My accomplishment has made my friends and people in the village very happy,” he continued.

Rana’s ability to keep up his speed for extended periods of time is what makes him unique. When he broke the 150 kmph barrier during his Test debut earlier this year against Sri Lanka, it was his turning point.
