Team India seeks to avenge its West Indies series failure.
The three-match series between Team India and Ireland will be their first since they lost the five-match T20I series against the West Indies recently. India dropped the first two games of the series, a terrible start that they quickly overcame.
Following victories in the third and fourth games, India lost the fifth and final T20I. India will be motivated to play better in the series against Ireland after losing the last match 3-2. They want to finish the tour on a high note following this setback.
All eyes will be on the star bowler Jasprit Bumrah, who is playing his maiden international match after a lengthy absence. The Indian team won the toss for the opening T20I and decided to bowl first in Malahide.
