The 33rd game of the Indian Premier League 2024 was played on Thursday, April 18, in Mullanpur between the Mumbai Indians (MI) and Punjab Kings (PBKS). Sam Curran, the captain of the PBKS, chose to bowl first after winning the toss. During the toss, Hardik Pandya appeared to be making fun of the criticism he has been getting in recent months. In an attempt to justify his criticism, he cleverly brought up the problems facing the wealthy league.
The appointment of Pandya to replace Rohit Sharma as the MI captain has caused a great deal of controversy, for those who are unaware. Fans of the franchise and Rohit in particular, did not agree with the move. In the stadiums, the all-round player was jeered. The Wankhede Stadium match between MI and me became worse.

“Good toss to lose; we also wanted to bat first.” We don’t evaluate our performances; there have been a few occasions when we were in control of the game but failed to complete it. The Indian Premier League tests players; the game never ends. We simply approach each game as it comes, giving it everything we have. Once we all make a commitment to the team’s objective, the outcomes will become evident. At the toss, Hardik remarked, “The same team.”

Hardik Pandya’s men’s eye comeback
The five-time champions have dropped four of their first six games this season, contributing to their sluggish start. It is critical for the Hardik Pandya-led team to win most of their games because they are only down 4 points. MI will bet on themselves to win the remaining games because a fake defeat to their bitter rivals, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), exacerbated their injuries.
