The Titans appeared to be in trouble after losing an early wicket when placed to bat, but Aaron James produced an incredible 42-run effort to pull them out of it. They lost six wickets in the process, but they managed to score a respectable 99 runs. The Guardians had a poor start and quickly lost four wickets. Although they did have a strong partnership till the fifth wicket, they did not have much help after that. They ultimately fell short of winning by 11 runs.
