Jake Fraser-McGurk turned in a fantastic effort despite the early setback, finishing as the team’s leading scorer with a quick 55 runs off 23 deliveries. Under the direction of Paul Walter, the Heat bowlers maintained pressure on the Renegades, preventing them from scoring more than 162 runs in 20 overs at the expense of eight wickets. In his four overs, Walter took three wickets for 27 runs, making him the Heat’s most effective bowler.

The Heat encountered some early difficulties in their chase of 163 runs, losing their first three wickets before reaching the 50-run threshold.
