Later, Gujarat gave Tamil Nadu the goal of 299 after scoring 312 in their second innings. By keeping Tamilnadu to 187 runs, their bowlers won the game by a margin of 111 runs. Umang Kumar scored 76(110) in the first innings and 89(148) in the second for Gujarat.

In their first-season match against Punjab, Karnataka held the latter to just 152 runs in the first innings. Teammate Vijaykumar Vyshak claimed two wickets, while Vasuki Koushik claimed seven. Devdutt Padikkal scored 193 runs (216 runs) and Manish Pandey scored 118 runs (165 runs) to help Karnataka declare their first innings at 514-8. With the help of Abhishek Sharma’s 91(123) and Prabhsimran Singh’s 100(146) knocks, Punjab scored 413 in their second innings. With seven wickets remaining, Karnataka managed to chase the 49-run mark.
