At the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, during the 60th game of the 18th edition of the league between the Gujarat Titans and Delhi Capitals, Sai Sudharsan smashed his second IPL century. Through a dominant batting partnership with Shubman Gill, the Southpaw stole the game away from the home team from the very beginning and prevented them from ever getting it back.
The visiting team got off to a strong start thanks to Sai and Gill as they chased 200 on a dry surface that moved slowly throughout the game. GT had a flawless chase with no bumps at all while riding on the same. In the Powerplay overs, Sudharsan went crazy and immediately put the bowlers on the defensive.
After getting set, he enjoyed himself by chasing the bowlers while Gill took his time. Sudharsan was the star of the show, not only because of his explosive performance in the first six overs but also because he played a long innings and scored his second-ever IPL century.
