The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are currently on a roll, having advanced to the playoffs of the IPL 2025. Rajat Patidar, an Indore-born middle-order batsman, has led the Men in Red this season and is also one of the franchise’s important batters.

The RCB captain has also spoken out about the wonderful season, reflecting on the attitude and environment in the dressing room and how it has benefited them this year. Patidar also revealed that players outside of the playing XI contributed to bonding and team activities.

“The attitude and environment in the dressing room are excellent. We have excellent team bonding activities and collaborate well, which allows us to get to know each other better. Even outside of the playing XI, the remainder of the squad takes initiative, speaks openly, and has fun. It’s a happy mood, and since we’re getting fantastic results, everything appears to be going well,” Patidar stated on JioHotstar’s show, Superstars.

Though many teams have dominated at home, Royal Challengers Bengaluru has yet to lose a game away from home this season. Patidar has disclosed the team’s mentality and plans for the away games, as well as the plans and techniques the team has implemented to assure success in these matches.

“Whenever we play away games, we don’t expect to win. However, what has succeeded is that each player has performed their role well and has wisely appraised the conditions and situations, including the surface, bowlers, and opponents. We’ve also talked about worst-case scenarios in our team meetings, so our preparedness has been thorough. That’s why the results have been positive. “RCB’s batting has always been a strength over the years,” Patidar said.
