Jayawardene claimed that the duo contributed well to the team and added that the 5-time champions would miss them in the squad for the playoffs. The former Sri Lankan wished luck for Jacks for being called up by the English side after a long time.

Jayawardene claimed to be proud of Jacks and advised him to maintain his attitude. The former T20 World Cup winner added that all three of Rickelton, Jacks, and Bosch have great attitude and claimed them to be brilliant in contributing for the team. He wished them luck and patted them on their shoulders to bid them adieu.

Kieron Pollard, Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, Suryakumar Yadav, and Rohit Sharma hugged Jacks, while Jayawardene and the support crew hugged Bosch. Mitchell Santner and Trent Boult wished Rickelton luck as he competed in the WTC Final. After that, Bosch, Jacks, and Rickelton signed a jersey to join MI’s 2025 class of athletes.

Before leaving, the three thanked the supporters for their support as they packed their luggage and got on the team bus. After losing to the Punjab Kings in their final IPL 2025 season encounter, MI will play in the Eliminator. In the crucial games, they might not have the three players available.
